ACA compliance reporting required with 1099s!


ACA (Obamacare) or Affordable Care Act compliance reporting may surprise you on January 31, 2016.  Government reporting is required on healthcare benefits and employee hours at the same time your 1099s are due out.

ACA reporting looks at W2 employees for work any time during the year, whether part time or full time.  So the 50 employee reporting limit is easier to hit than you might think.
